My condolences to the family. We are distant cousins. Unfortunately I didn't have a pleasure of knowing him, but I do know his dad brother aunt uncle, niece, grandmother and cousins. He was highly spoken of. Rest in peace cousin.

It’s difficult to hear about Daronne’s passing. He was always full of laughter and smiles, bringing light to every room he entered. To his family and his friends, my heart is with you during this difficult time. Sending you all my deepest condolences and love.

Nearly 7 years .. 🥹😩 & It wasn’t ENOUGH

Daronne is MY EVERYTHING, my headache , my best friend , my waymaker , my reason being outside of my children .. 7 years almost & we were just starting to get right , we were just starting to get on one accord .. because we are and always head strong but bighearted.. In the darkest times of my life when there was nothing & no one we had each other , we still do & I still choose . Daronne wanted to do everything the right way & those and what he loves he holds dearly . Til the very end despite everything we were choosing each other on any and everyday , nobody could tell him nothing about ME & me nothing about him & for me to be with him in his final moments , I love him beyond measures , I had him just like he would have me to the very end moment , he laid eyes on me and left me on this side of the earth .. but he didn’t leave without letting me know .. I will never say rest in peace or heaven , for him it’s Rest in HONOR , he has done too much , he pulled his weight and everyone else’s , he was and still is an HONORABLE man , his smile and touch & energy can never be replaced ,& I’m HONORED to have been loved by you daronne, even more honored to be that woman for you , thank you for choosing me , showing me & molding me . Thank you , I adore you & I can’t wait to finally lay eyes o you again , 13 days feels far too long for me and I hate it here without you , but I know you are where your heart is at ease & everything is going so fast anymore .. you don’t have to anymore & I love that for you & hate it for me , thank you for sharing true unconditional love with me , I’ve had it @ 23 . One of my favorite players to ever coach… never the best, but ALWAYS worked hard to improve. Inspiration to teammates and coaches, and one of those players every coach wants on their roster. Had some great one on one talks on court or the bench, always positive… and that smile… idk if I ever saw him without it. RIH Daronne.
