of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 22nd, in Indianapolis. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
David was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Rosamond Murdock on June 15, 1946. David graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration. He married Ann Bley on August 29, 1970 in Chesterton, Indiana.
David worked as a real estate banker throughout his career, employed by banks including Salin Bank, Bank One, and American Fletcher. Outside of the office, David enjoyed spending time with his family at their second home on Lake Lemon, watching Indiana Hoosier basketball, reading historical biographies, and spoiling his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosamond. David is survived by his wife, Ann, son Matthew (Sarah), daughter Sarah (Jordan), and his four siblings, Mary (Larry), Charles (Dixie), Margaret (Raymond), and Marcia.
