While attending Lowell Elementary School, Debbie met her lifelong companion, Mark Leeper, The two were married in December 1971 and were blessed with three children.
Debbie spent the next several years working, raising the family and putting Mark through school. After a long association with St. Francis Hospital from Candy Striper to Utilization Manager, Debbie retired to pursue her favorite pastime; enjoying life. She enjoyed youth sports, traveling, lake activities, family vacations and simply having a good time.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mark; her children: Leslee Waters, (Bryan), John Leeper, (Jodi), and Ben Leeper; grandchildren: Frances and Grace Timpe, Drew, Jake and Dean Leeper, Lexi and Bennson Leeper; sisters, Carol Mandel (Howard) and Martha Miller, (Tom) and several nieces and nephews.
