I met Dion at Republic Services. He was a part of the best group of people to ever get hired there. I’ll always remember him for being the best dressed, color coordinated guy in the building who was always with a smile on his face. I didn’t know him outside of work but I know that he was loved by everyone at work. I pray for peace for his family and friends. 

I am Ayrica  Jordan. I have known DeLawrence since  1980. I know that because I met him my 6th grade year at Belzer Middle School.  He was in the 7th grade and made my life absolutely  miserable.  Skip to  LCHS we both joined the Human Relations Club our teacher made us resolve our issues and we became friends.  
Later in life we would work jobs together.  He stood by me in good and bad times. We helped each other through life's crisis.  He would always keep me laughing. He was a true friend no matter the situation or circumstances and my brother is Christ.
It's amazing that the boy I hated  became my friend ,the man who would do anything to put a smile on my face and make me laugh through any adversity. I miss him so much. He made my entire family love him.  Mrs. Watson you created special person and I thank you. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Heaven has gained a comedic angel. Keep them laughing until we meet again.  REST IN HEAVEN. 

My dear friend Dion..I am going to miss you like crazy.. I'm going to miss all the laughs the long talks and all the texting we used to do. You were truly an angel sent from GOD! A GOD fearing man is what you were! You were always a pleasure to be around at Spectrum and Republic Services.. I'm going to miss all the Hershey bars you use to buy split or just give me lol! OH! and the big red cinnamon gum you use to give me every time I asked if you had gum!! I promise to keep your memory alive for as long as I live!! The word of the Lord declares that But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. So therefore even though my heart is heavy I will and shall continue to press on through this thing called LIFE.. May you rest in the arms of the Lord Dion Watson..

I have only known Deon  for a short period of time ,about 5 months  but he was quite the character, full of Joy and Spirit,
every morning, he would say good morning, how are you, I always replied Blessed and he would say (Wont He Do IT) which obligated me to finish the phrase (he said He Would, So I trust him at all times)
He Shall truly be missed  RIH my friend until we meet again, and we shall surely sing his praises aloud for all to hear.

My name is Pam, I have worked with Deon the last six years. He was a joy to be around and the most positive person to know. He made everyone he came in contact with feel very special. He was well groomed and always smelled very nice. My heart goes out to his mom and the rest of his family. RIH Deon I love you.

Dion was the highlight of Team 20 at Republic Services. Since I was blessed to sit right next to him, I had the pleasure of laughing out loud with him. One day I told him (and other co-workers around me) "my daughter is making 15 beans soup for dinner and beans give you gas". Dion's response was "you mean to tell me I'm going to smell 15 different gases"? LOL! He once told me the only reason he came to work was because of me. That's because we had laugh out loud fun!  I never got the chance to tell  him he was my reason for coming also. Team 20 is a good team because we have a good leader, but Dion made it the BOMB team! I'm so sure Dion is in heaven making Jesus and the Angels laugh!!! Love You Dion! 

I knew Delawrence as Dion. We work together at Republics Services.  One thing I can say about Dion was that he Never Met a Stranger, He was always warm and welcoming to everyone.  He has a nick name for every one of his friends at work and if he didn't he would just call you "Big Money" Lol. I will always remember his joke and saying " Look at your Neighbor" & Wont he do it" and his  favorite dance was the stanky leg. I remember he would always say to me "Hey Bri-Bri you going this weekend ? Are going to do the Stanky leg ?" I will truly miss Dion and cherish his memory. He was a Great friend.  
  
To his Family & love ones,  A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

You always had a good word for everyone and you were very encouraging .

You are a loving soul whose presence  will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing you .
