Donna Jane Moeller

Donna Jane Green Moeller, age 82, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1941 in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Manuel S. and Susan M. (Conner) Green. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. She was an administrative assistant at her father's business, Precision Rubber Plate Co., Inc., retiring after many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Green.

Donna is survived by her husband of 63 years, William L. Moeller; children, Leesa (the late Tom) Kramer, Becky (Paul) Puckett, and Susie (Scott) Simpson; brother, Lawrence (Patti) Green; grandchildren, Bethany, Emily, Zachary, Ryan, Ross (fiancé Samantha), Riley (Bailey) and Rustin; along with one great-grandson, Colt.

Donna attended Acton Elementary school and was a graduate of Franklin Township High School. She was active in 4-H and had a love for all animals having pets ranging from birds, JoJo the monkey, cows, horses and many cats and dogs.

She was a Majorette in high school where she also met the love of her life, Bill Moeller.

Donna and Bill were married on April 9, 1960 when their adventure through life began. From spending time on the Ohio River at the infamous "Hooky Patch", to time at Green Lake and many family trips to Minnesota, all while raising three wonderful daughters. Donna and Bill blessed their daughters by spending time together as a family camping, fishing and enjoying the northland. A blessing that continued as their daughters grew and had families of their own.

She had a beautiful singing voice and was a talented piano player. Donna was also an outstanding cook, treating her family to many of their favorite dishes.

She enjoyed travelling on cruises as well as her favorite past time: casino hopping. Donna was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Colts, Pacers, Boilermakers and Hoosiers and, of course, all of her grandchildren's teams. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and is dearly loved and missed by all of her family and friends.

Everyone who knew Donna knew her as a kind, loving, generous and gentle soul.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home – Indianapolis, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. There will be a private Graveside Service following the funeral.
