Dorothy Ellen Kenny

Dorothy Ellen Kenny, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. She was born on September 9, 1941 in East Rochester, New York to Walter Edward and Louise Josephine (Arbic) McPhee. She graduated from East Rochester High School in 1959. She married Thomas Michael Kenny on September 3, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dorothy worked for several different companies throughout her life in the areas of finance and sales. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for 45 years and thoroughly enjoyed time with her family, arts and crafts, as well as, playing a variety of card games. Dorothy is survived by her children, Richard, Scott, Michael and Brian Kenny; sister, Lillian Grausnick; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Thomas Kenny; her first husband, Richard Steely; and her parents. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220, with a rosary beginning at 7:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
