

Dr. Myron E. Greene, dentist, 95, of Indianapolis passed away on May 25, 2010. He was born January 20, 1915 in Buffalo, New York, the son of Edward and Florence Vollmer Greene. His family moved to Indianapolis in 1916.
He attended school #58 and graduated from Tech High School in 1933 and Indiana University Dental School in 1940. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He did his Internship at Rochester, New York. Myron served in the United States Armed Forces, European Theater of Operation in WWII for five years as a Major practicing his dentistry. He produced a video of WWII, entitled, "World War II Odyssey" which can be found in libraries throughout the country.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lovilla, and by his brother Edward.
Survivors include his loving wife, Marian O'Haver Greene, and his step children, Thomas O'Haver and wife Elaine, Susan Young and husband Stanley, David O'Haver and wife Karen, Nancy O'Haver Borsay and by 10 step grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces Judy Hadden and Joannie Sauder and their children and nieces Judy O. Conner and Jackie Greene.
He was an avid world traveler but also enjoyed his home at Tippecanoe Lake where he loved boating and fishing. He practiced dentistry in Indianapolis for 40 years. He was a member of the American Dental Association, Indianapolis Dental Society, the Murat Shrine and the Optimist Club.
Memorial services will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 29, 2010 with calling from 9:30-11:00 A.M. Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice.
