Durmon Anthony Green

Durmon Anthony Green was born on March 8th 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Gloria D. Green and Durmon Jones Jr. He attended Northwest High School and while there, he played varsity football all 4 years as a defensive lineman and graduated in 1984. Shortly thereafter, he attended the Pontiac Business Institute and received a certification as a correctional officer. Even though he was certified as a correctional officer, hi passion was construction work. For 38 years , Durmon worked under his dad's business guidance at the Durmon Jone Associates, LLC where he mastered and created beautiful art with his hand for people to love and cherish for years to come. He was known for his kindness and giving nature. Durmon learned later in life to have a love for God and Jesus Christ and was baptized at Full Gospel Worship Center on December 15, 2019.

Aside from his love of football, Durmon loved fishing, shooting pool, motorcycles, animals, fine art and CHICKEN WINGS. Durmon made an unforgettable impact in so many lives of all who knew him. He had a total of 4 sisters, 3 he leaves behind, one gone to glory, one brother, 7 children, several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.

A visitation will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home, located at 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, on February 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
