Edward Allen Leavell

Edward professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of First Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Edward was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his military service he was employed at Ertels Manufacturing Company until it closed. He began working as a maintenance worker for Vendor Properties.

Edward was preceded in death by his son; Gregory McNary and a great granddaughter; T'arri Williams.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Carolyn A. Leavell (Turner); two daughters, Marcie (Kendell) Riley of Memphis, Tennessee and Shelly Kimbrough of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; seven siblings, Barbara King of Omaha, Nebraska, Beulah (Cornell) Newton of Daleville, Mississippi, Gloria Drake of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Terrance (Charles) Crump of Clarksville, Tennessee, Kimberely (Dewayne) Bennett of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Lacreshia Rudolph of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Isaac Leavell Jr. of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 10am until 2pm at Family Funeral Care - Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm. Rev. Perry Carter Jr. will officiate. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors will follow.
