80, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2011. Elizabeth was born on August 14, 1930 to the late Joseph and Grace Braune. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School, attended the University of New Mexico and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and a Master’s degree from Butler University. Elizabeth was a teacher with Decatur Central High School for 43 years. She was an avid bridge player at the K of C, MCL Cafeteria and the Glendale Library. She is survived by husband Sigmund Gut, son Josef S. (Amy) Gut, brother Joseph Braune (Phyllis Walker), nephew Max Braune, niece Becca (Mike) Kozlowski, great-niece Kate Kozlowski and great-nephews Sam and Jack Kozlowski. She was preceded in death by her sister: Katherine Braune Price. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 7, at 10:00 am at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
