Frederic T Timberman

March 6, 1934 - July 30, 2011; Indianapolis

Fred is the son of Charles and Theresa (Rottler) Timberman of Indianapolis. Fred and wife Judy Mattox of Rushville celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 18, 2011.

Mr. Timberman was the owner of A-1 Tent & Tarp. Post-retirement, he was a substitute teacher with Carmel Clay Schools. Fred was a graduate of Shortridge High School and was a member of the 34th Street Dukes. He served in the United States Army, coached girls softball for Nora Little League, and was a member of Genesis Church in Noblesville.

Fred is survived by his wife; his sister, Carole Glass; brother, Dick (Mary Lou) Borst; his daughters, Lisa (Philip) Yaffe, Becky (Brian) Akins; five grandchildren, Lauren, Owen and Noah Akins, Eli and Harper Yaffe; godson, U.S. Army Sergeant Matthew Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Marilyn Conwell, and his daughters, Laura Rae and Cynthia Tracy Timberman.

Visitation: 4-7 pm on Tuesday, August 2nd at the Crown Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held there at 11 am on Wednesday, August 3rd. Interment: Crown Hill Cemetery.
