passed away April 8, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memory son, George Fort, Jr.; daughters, Delores Fort-Jackson, Denise Fort, Betty Fort, Beatrice Fort; sisters, Ossie Guynn, Ruby Parham, Margaret Fort; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a devoted companion of over 20 years, Rose Oliver. Services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation from 11-1 PM and service immediately following. Burial in Crown Point Cemetery.
