83, passed away August 16, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late George and Dorothy Thompson. George was a facilities manager for Ivy Tech for over 23 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Heartland Church of Christ in Greenwood.
George is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helena Thompson; daughter Tricia Thompson; son CAPT Kerry (Sally) Thompson; grandchildren CPT Brian (Megan McTaggart) Thompson and Alison (Leland) Kuhn; and brothers Paul and Edwin Thompson. He was preceded in death by his brother Roland Thompson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 20th from 4:00-8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 21st at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Church of Christ 1693 W. Main St. Greenwood, IN 46142
