Gerry was a handyman that could work on and repair anything that he set his mind to. After high school Gerry joined the Air Force and served during Vietnam War before being honorably discharged. He was a member of HOG, Masonic Lodge, Patriot Guard, Vietnam veterans of America and a lifetime member of DAV.
Gerry is survived by his sons; Jared (Angela) Pickett and Ben Beecher, brother; Ben Beecher, grandchildren; Briatta (Cody) Goodnight and Abigail (Caleb) Ringis and great grandchildren; Kaiden and Owen Goodnight and Emberlynn Ringis.
Gerry will be laid to rest at the Crown Hill National Cemetery Annex, 725 W 42nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46208, on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 2pm.
