Gloria Marcella Jones

Gloria Bonnie Marcella was born to Elmer Anderson Harrison Sr and Etta Diggs Harrison, January 1, 1920 in St. Louis, MO. Sister Gloria Jones attended Elementary and Highschools in North St. Louis, MO.

She received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age and in the late 1930's was baptized in Jesus Name. She was known for her ministry to a vast number of friends and strangers, serving meals, clothing, and shelter as well as the word of God. She was an avid student of the word and a prayer warrior.

Her talents were Hair Stylist5, Seamstress, artist and Playwright. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. As her health declined, she lost her ability to communicate, she still rejoiced in the Lord in her own way.

Her first husband preceded her in death, Franklin K. Sidner, to this union was born Conrad Sidner Sylvia Sidner- Mitchell.

Her second marriage to Lewis Nathaniel Jones (Sis Patricia Jones) produced nine children, Micah Twyman (Nickie), Stanley Jones (Robin), Reginald Jones (Joyce), Nathaniel, Nathan Jones, Marietta Jones, Donna Jones, Elmer Jones, Paula Jones.

Her ten siblings preceded her in death Elmer Harrison, Leona Harrison, Estelle Harrison, Levi Deloris Harrison, Peggy Harrison, Helen Harrison, Carol Harrison, Loretta Harrison and Henry Harrison. She had 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends.

Her visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 10am-12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, INC. Her burial will take place in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
