His mother, Cora Evans preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, significant other, Jean Pierson, father, Herman Russell, sons, Martinez Williams, Camara Russell (Inger), Jamal, George Moss, David Pierson, daughters, Lisa Gatewood, Carlethea Pierson, brother, James Russell, 5 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren and a host of exended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Gabriel Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place at Sutherland Park Cemetery.
