

Jacqueline lead an extraordinary life! She was born in West Palm Beach Florida and raised In Tallahassee Florida under the tutelage of her father Wilmoth Henry Baker, MD. & mother Fannie Glovenia Baker a professional educator.
Jacqueline had two siblings: one sister “Barbara” and one brother “Billy” Wilmoth Jr. During Jacqueline’s youth she was known to be a very industrious child always exploring, searching out new things and she was always thinking outside of the box while anticipating her next move. She was definitely someone who played by her own set of rules.
When Jacqueline graduated from High School she wanted her father to enroll her at UCLA however, he declined and said she would be going to ( FAMU) Florida A&M University in Tallahassee!
After attending two years at Florida A&M University Jacqueline felt she had enough and she wanted to see the world and decided to seek other opportunities. After volunteering for the USO Jacqueline met a service man who she married and that started her amazing life of travel!
Jacqueline traveled abroad extensively and she later referred to Europe England as home. Once back in the United States through the military Jacqueline found herself and her family stationed in Bunker Hill Indiana at the Grissom Air Force Base, which was located between Peru,IN and Kokomo, IN of which both she resided in. Jacqueline remained productive and began yet another career in Peru, Indiana at The Square D Company of which she retires from in 1990.
Jacqueline is survived by daughters: Janice Mims (Tampa Florida) & Delzita Leatherwood (Costa Mesa, California) and a Son Terence “Terry” Whack of (Indianapolis, Indiana). She has sixteen grandchildren: Christopher, Philip, Andrea, Jackie, Robert, Britton, Brandi, Winter, Greg, Ryan, Brandon, Kelsey, Kolby and Onyx. She also had thirty-six great grandchildren and twenty-two great-great grandchildren.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by: Father; Wilmoth Baker, Mother; Glovenia Baker, Sister; Barbara, Brother; Billy, Daughter; Sandra, and two grandsons; Shawn and Richard.
A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
