I wish to extend my condolences to Ann, the children, grand children and siblings of Jim.  We grew up together but lost touch when Vietnam called us both to service.  I'll always remember you, Jim.

Though life has scattered us in many directions the bond of family and happy memories remain.  You have all ALWAYS been in my prayers.  May God comfort you in your sorrow and send you special blessings.

I have so many memory's of Jim but here is my very first, my first family trip with the Barnum's  we went to the lake for the day and they rented a canoe well pat can not swim so all day he says I am waiting to go with Jim cuz he knows what he is doing, well pat and I and Jim get in canoe me in the middle they slash each other with the oars well Jim goes to splash pat hit's me in the head with the paddle Jim jump omg I am sorry we flip in the middle of the lake pat starts to panic Jim takes control and says calm down u r OK we r lol the whole time and Jim says he seen some thing about how u can hold the caneo over your head and get the water out of the boat well did not work,caneo  is at least 3 feet under water Jim gets in and says we can get to shore did not work and we r laughing so hard as pat is yelling help and saying this is so much fun help, finally a motor boat throws a rope tows us to shore, u would think that's the end of my story well nope, so we get to shore dump the water out Jim has me get in then pat then he goes to get in slips on a rock tips us again and we r still laughing so hard, we finally get back in head back to where every one is and Jim says let's not tell them what happened we all agree, we get back sitting there some one ask me what time it is( my new watch) I look at it and the 3 of us lost it the jig is up r story was told,again u think it is over not, we get back to the house and Jim says he is going to fix my watch he takes it and put it in the microwave to dry it out needless to say my watch was done, that was over 30 years ago seems like yesterday I will truly miss him, R.I.P  Jim love u always and forever always in my heart

James and I are so very sorry for the loss of Jim. James just told me today the fun he and Jim had fishing together!  We love you all!!

I'm so very sorry for your loss Dawn. I have so many fun memories of time spent with Jim and the entire family when we were young. I'll never forget the big yellow boat and spending Saturdays heading to Strawberry Lake for the day. Gosh those were good times. Hugs to you, your mom, brothers and sister. xo

I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing. My family has so many wonderful memories of time spent with the Barnums. Memories that we will cherish. Jim was a great dad to 4 pretty great kids. May you each be comforted during this time by family, friends and wonderful memories.

My dearest sympathy in your time of sorrow.  On behalf of your family and the many other families I know affected by cancer.  I am walking and raising funds in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on May 16th.  I will keep your family in my prayers as I walk to help fight for a cure.
