JAMES received his education through the Indianapolis Public School System. He graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and furthered his education by taking some college classes.
JAMES found the love of his life when he met Carolyn Lee Hester. He united in holy matrimony to Carolyn Lee Bostick and was blessed by her four children. This union was further blessed when two more sons were born making a family of eight.
JAMES’ careers consisted of owner and operator of J&C Variety Store, J&C Ice Cream Trucks, J&C Painting & Construction, J&C Casino Party Bus as well as a five year stint with the Indianapolis Department of Transportation.
JAMES was a father and loving husband who enjoyed traveling with his wife to Las Vegas, and chartering bus trips to casinos to party with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards with his wife and sons on Saturday evenings. He also enjoyed barbecuing with his family and friends.
JAMES accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a member of Eastside New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at the time of his passing.
