James K. Dickerson

Jim was born on September 16, 1929 in Indianapolis. He was called home to Jesus on December 26, 2021. He was the youngest of many siblings born to Scott Frederick Dickerson and Emma (Huber) Dickerson.

Jim was a proud Shriner as well as a member of Life Tabernacle Church.

He married “Betty” Elizabeth Lorraine Wolf. Together, they had two children. Robin Lee was born in 1957 and Edward Donald was born in 1961.

They later on divorced. On 1/19/91, James was married to Mable R Matthew.

Jim was such a happy person to be around. He loved to make people laugh and he loved Jesus. He enjoyed music and dancing.

Jim loved being around his family. Some of his greatest times were spent at Van Biber Lake. It was a place for family and fun. That is where he received many trophies for playing pool.

Pap was such a magician for the grandkids and great grandkids. He loved to make quarters and dollars appear ! We all wondered how he did it!

He was such a jokester and a giver.

He had words of wisdom for us all. And he will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.

Grandchildren: Nicole L Lacefield (Keith), Amanda R Hatcher (Gaylan), Cynthia R Hix (Jay), Eric D Dickerson (Briana) Indpls Jim Lewis MA, Renee Rossman Costello MA

Great GrandChildren: Brooke, Tye, Jaylan, Aleithia, Madison, Jayla, Kiarra, Eric, Oak, Ashton, Eriana, Willow

6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
