James worked for Chrysler as an Assembly Line Worker and after 36 years of faithful service he retired in 2000. He truly enjoyed his 21 years of retirement.
James will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him dearly.
James is survived by his son Mark Anthony (Rhonda) Drake, daughter Jacqueline Drake-Myers, sisters; Cozetta Drake, Wilodean Ellis, Mary Jean (George) Baker, Bernice (David) Baker, Freda Smith, Reda (Jerry) Reynolds, Patrice Drake, Joyce (Lucius) Parker, Lynnette Jones, brothers; Randall Howard Drake, Kenneth Lee Drake, Allen Stevenson (Brenda) Drake, William Douglas Drake, a total of 12 grand-children including Latasha S. Smiley, Lutuece B. Walsh, Leah T. Myers, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
