James M. “Jim” Gilliam 66, passed away peacefully Dec. 9, 2010 at his home in Greenwood, In. He was born in Indianapolis to the late James and Helen Gilliam. Jim was a Physical Chemist at Eli Lilly for 41 years retiring in 2003. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a friend to many, and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Jim is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 41 years; sons Michael Gilliam and Brett (Tracy) Gilliam; grandchildren Drake and Bryce Gilliam; best friend and “brother” Steve (Brenda) Moore and brother Richard Gilliam. Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents Harvey and Edna McKay. Friends may call at Little & Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel from 4:00-8:00 PM Monday Dec. 13th.
