James H. Harden Sr., affectionately known as "Sonny", of Woodstock, GA, passed away on March 20. He was an awesome brother, father and even better grandfather. Left to treasure a legacy of precious memories are his siblings, Paul Harden (Charlene), Joan Harden Godfrey of Danville, California, and Genet Kidane (Agazi) of Alpharetta, Georgia; daughter, Dawn Harden Keels; sons, Paul Harden (Alane) and William Harden; grandchildren, Garrett Spencer (Jasmine), Blake McDonald, and Celeste McDonald; and great grandchildren, Gunnar and Saylor Grace Spencer. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carole Finnell; and son, James H. Harden Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 10-12 p.m. at Witherspoon Presbyterian Church, 5136 Michigan Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, with funeral services immediately following at 12 noon.
