

James A. Parker 68 of Kokomo passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 2:38 A.M. at Howard Regional Health Systems. James A. Parker was born on February 6, 1942 the son of Lendon Parker and Vivian Embry in Dardanelle, Arkansas. James was a Service Technician for Indiana Bell Telephone Company, retiring after 35 years of service. James was a United States Airforce Veteran. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended Bible Study. He was also a member of the Mighty Men of Second Missionary Baptist Church, former member of the Road Knights Motorcycle Club, Elks Lodge and worked with the Drill Team. James loved his family especially spending time with his mom. He is survived by his daughter, Jamea Darlene (Me-Me) Parker, Kokomo, mother, Vivian Embry of Kokomo, sister, Margaret A. Parker of Los Angeles, California, niece, Deborah Cotton, nephew, Larry Northington, several great nieces & nephews , his faithful dog Baby D other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, July 31st , 2010, 11 A.M. at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31st, 2010 from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial in Crown Point Cemetery. Arrangements pending with Bluitt & Son Funeral Home.
