71, of Indianapolis passed away on September 6, 2017. He was born March 6, 1946 in Indianapolis to R. Richard and Monica “Peggy” Joyce Roberts. He graduated from Scecina High School. Jim was a firefighter and EMT with the Indianapolis Fire Department; he also worked at Sagamore Golf Club. Jim is survived by his wife Lynn Short Roberts, sisters Terry Nelson, Monica (Judd) Folske, Catherine (Peter) Smith and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 12, at 10 at Little Flower Catholic Church. A memorial visitation will be Monday, September 11 from 4 – 7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
