Jason grew up in New Jersey and graduated from James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell in 1992, where he deepened his lifelong love of sports—especially football and baseball, both of which he played and cherished. A devoted fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees, Jason’s enthusiasm for his teams was matched only by his loyalty to family and friends.
In 2002, Jason moved to Fishers, Indiana, where he built a successful career in the automotive industry. He was currently serving as General Manager at Ed Martin Acura.
Jason’s love of sports lives on through his son, Michael, whose lacrosse career brought him tremendous pride and joy. He was so proud of Michael and his achievements both on and off the field.
Jason will be remembered for his passion and generous spirit. He was very impressionable and made friends everywhere he went.
Jason will be deeply missed by his son, Michael Mattaliano; mother, Debra Selling; sisters, Rachel Sands and Marissa (Mike) Rubinstein; mother of Michael, Shelley Mattaliano; and nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jared, and Rebecca Sands and Mason and Olivia Rubinstein.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Feeney Hornack Funeral Home 2126 E 71st Street Indianapolis, IN and will receive family and friends from 3PM till the time of service.
