Jason Douglas Powell, Sr.

Jason received his formal education through the Indianapolis Public School System at School 110. He would continue to further his education by attending Arsenal Technical High School located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mr. Powell was employed by the Kroger Warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he devoted countless hours towards mastering each desired task. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards and basketball. Jason loved helping others and spending time with his son, family, and friends.

Jason Douglas Powell departed this life on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at the age of thirty-seven.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, John Powell. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Connie Birdsong (Terryson); sister, Melissa Penman; son, Jason Powell, Jr.; companion, Kim Douglasand a host of other loving relatives and friends. Home going service, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 11am at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, 5252 E. 38th St. Family will receive friends 9am until time of service. Interment Sutherland Park Cemetery.
