He was the son of Claude Chambers and Geneva (Gorby) Chambers, who both preceded him in death.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Chambers (Cook). Jerry and Debbie were married for 54 years, sharing a lifetime of memories, commitment, and love together.
He is also survived by his children, who were his pride and joy. His daughter, Holly, and her husband Paul, along with their children, Katie and Joshua. His son, Corey, and his wife Lauren, along with their children, Paige, Elias, and Isaac, who brought so much joy to his life as his grandchildren.
Jerry will be remembered for his quiet strength, his sense of humor, and the love he carried for his family. Those who knew him will remember his stories, his simple kindness, and the way he cared in his own way.
A wake style gathering will be held for family and friends on Saturday, November 8, from 1 to 3 PM at Church on the Rock Baptist in Brownsburg. Instead of a formal service, this will be a relaxed time to share memories, give thanks for Jerry’s life, and encourage one another with love and support.
