John "Jack" Scott

83, of Beech Grove, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2019. He was born May 9, 1935 in Streator, Illinois to Herschel and Beatrice Peak Scott. He was a member of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple and a lifetime member of the VFW. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a meter reader for Citizens Gas Company. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Emma Wilhelm Scott, children Jeff (Kim), Mike (Debbie) and Christine Scott, sister Nancy Starkey, brother Russell Scott, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be Tuesday, January 22 at 12 pm at Indianapolis Baptist Temple, 4002 East Southport Road, Indianapolis, 46237 with visitation from 9 until service time.
