Dr. Jose Nicolini Tord

Dr. Jose Nicolini Tord, age 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Jose was born April 22, 1928 in Lima, Peru to the late Jose and Esther (Nicolini) Tord. He married Mary Helen Mikulka on June 6, 1964. Jose was a member of St. Pius X Parish, Knights of Columbus, Serra Club of Indianapolis and Opus Dei. He was also the former president of Peruvian American Medical Society. Dr. Tord practiced out of Winona Hospital, Community Hospital and Methodist for many years. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Mary Tord; children, Bernardo (Kelli) Tord and Tina (Stan) Snider; grandchildren, Ciara Tord, Cassidy Tord, Trace Snider and Joe Snider; brother, Javier Tord Nicolini; and extended family in Peru. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Maria Castillo and Alfonso Tord Nicolini. A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. A mass of christian burial will immediately follow at 1:00 PM also at the church. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
