Joseph Casimer Lisek

Joseph Casimer Lisek, age 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Joseph was born August 12, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Casimer and Louise Lisek. He graduated from high school in South Bend in 1956. Joe was in the Marine Reserves for 3 years prior to joining the U.S. Army in 1959. He served in the military for 11 years. After the military, Joe worked for Unisys as a computer technician. As a renaissance career, Joe received his Associate Degree from Purdue University and became a licensed addiction counselor before retiring. Joe married Julie Douglas in Lafayette, Indiana on October 17, 1981. Joe is survived by his wife, Julie Lisek; daughter, Michelle (Craig) Wetli; grandchildren, Vivian Wetli and Louisa Wetli; niece, Patti (Dave) Olson; and other nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Casimer and Louise Lisek; and sister, Dolores Kovacs. Joe was a friend of Bill W. A memorial service for Joe will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
