Joycelyn M Ervin

Joycelyn Ervin was born in Indianapolis Indiana to Harold Andrews and Gynell Grooms. She married Samuel R. Ervin Sr. on June 15,1968. In this union they had four children. She graduated from Manuel High school and was a stay-at-home mother until working for Naval Avionics in 1985. She retired from Raytheon Technologies after receiving years of honors awards and promotions for being a top Electronics Assembler. Joycelyn devoted the last part of her life to her son Anton and anyone that needed a helping hand.

Joycelyn is preceded in death by her Husband Samuel R. Ervin Sr, Son Robert L. Ervin, Mother Gynell Grooms, Father Harold L. Andrews, Grandson Temario Stokes Jr., Sister Alana Maria Meeks, Brother Walter C. Johnson Jr.

Joycelyn is survived by her children Samuel R. Ervin Jr., Anton T.Ervin, Marloia McNary (Eric), Sisters Dorene Johnson, Christy Johnson (Robert), Teresa Ballard, Brothers Willard L. Grooms, Desmond Andrews (Terri), Michael Johnson, Walter James Johnson, Herman Ballard, Grandchildren Terria Ervin (Travis), Ryan Ervin, Brittaney Ervin, Anton Thomas, Taiyonna Ervin, Chequil Ervin, Jaelyn Ervin, Tericka McNary, Tameron McNary. Great Grandchildren Temarion Stokes, Channing Allen, Nadia Brown, Aidan Brown, Ramel Brown, Jalen Anderson, Jhonni Wells, Braxtyn RaShawn Taylor and grandchild JaRyaih Ervin.
