

Karl was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School and accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He served as a faithful member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He sang in the church choir and truly loved the Lord.
Karl was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd and 101st Airborne. After serving, Karl became employed at Allegheny/USAir, which is now known as American Airlines, as a Lead Flight Mechanic. He served dutifully for thirty-five plus years before retiring.
Karl was a man of many musical talents. He loved to sing, play the guitar, and play the piano. In his leisure
time, he also loved to bowl and was an avid Golden State Warriors fan.
Karl Rochelle Davis, Sr. Departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his loving father (Rupert Davis), mother (Evelyn Burwell), son (Karl Davis, Jr.), siblings, Brenda Davis-Miller and Duane Russ. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Jackie Davis (Diane), Tonya Howard, Jerald Davis, Sr. (Lakeisha), Gail Davis, Joseph Davis (Tania) and Taylor Williams (Deaun). His siblings: Stephany Davis, Stephen Davis, and Kin Lee Russ, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation for Karl will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
