Kevin Douglas Wathen

Kevin Douglas Wathen, age 57, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Kevin was born August 21, 1961 in Vincennes, Indiana to Ada Katherine Wathen. After graduating from Lincoln High School in 1979, he attended Vincennes University where he obtained his Associate's Degree. He, also, obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University. Kevin worked for Riley Hospital as a respiratory therapist for many years. He was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching all Chicago teams play, especially the Cubs. He loved animals, music and horror films, specifically the classics. Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Michelle C. Wathen; daughter, Katrina A. C. Wathen; brother-in-law, John J. (Teresa) Hufnagel; sister-in-law, Mary Anne (Charles) Davenport; and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Katherine Wathen; and brothers, Max and Bob Cardinal. A visitation will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. Additional visitation will occur Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Father Jim Farrell will officiate.
