Mom, where do I even begin…..it has taken me two weeks to be able to come on here.  It has taken me two weeks to even think about what I can possibly say to express my gratitude and love for you.  You are the single most important lady in my life, you will never be replaced and I will forever have a missing piece of my soul gone.  I will live each and every day to make you proud and honor you life.  I promise to raise your grandsons as gentleman and take care of Mia as I know you would have.  I will forever miss calling you while in the car, on football Sunday, and on those holidays we couldn’t be together.   You showed so much strength these past months since we lost dad, you beat all odds against you, and now you are at peace.

Sweet Kimmie.....  I'm really going to miss your laugh and sense of humor. I'm going to miss our visits and talks. My heart goes out to Crystal and Chris. They will feel totally lost and alone. And poor Mia! She can't understand where her mommy is. Scottie is a basket case!  You were his little sister that he felt a need to look after and protect, and Leslie, she's going to be lost without you. You were so much to so many. I know you don't want us to be sad or cry but Kimmie, it just hurts so bad!! A piece of you will be with me every day when I use the cane you bought me. Thank you. Rest in peace sweetheart. Aunt Kim was the closest aunt I had when I was younger. She was always around to help out and raised Crystal and I together like sisters for awhile. She was always sweet, thoughtful, and had a great sense of humor. I loved her laugh and how she’d usually swat you or elbow you while she did it lol. Time and distance pulled me away from the family for a long time but she not only welcomed me back with open arms but went out of her way to make sure my kids felt welcomed as if no time had passed. I wish I could get some of that time back with her now. I loved Aunt Kim and will miss her. 

Mom,
    I love you so much. You have always been my biggest advocate. You’ve been my rock since the day I was born. Whenever I needed you, you were there. No questions asked… until the following day lol. I’m going to miss calling you on my way home from work daily, but what I will miss the most is the late night texts that say “I love you Sweetheart” or the “Sweet dreams babe.”  

    I don’t know what I will do without you, but I promise you I’ll take care of Hannah and Scarlett. The day Hannah and I pulled up to the house and you and Dad came outside and I handed you a bag that contained a Onesie to tell you guys that your were going to be grandparents was genuinely the happiest I have ever seen you and Dad when it came to me. The pure joy that came out of you radiated. It would also be one of the few times that I saw Dad cry tears of joy.  From that day forward every time I came over there would be more and more baby clothes scattered across the table. Your first Granddaughter, although your and Dad’s time with her together was short. I knew how much you guys loved our little girl. I will hold onto our memories together forever, and continue to tell Scarlett how much Grandma and Grandpa loves her. 
   
   I’m so proud of you. The strength you have shown over the last year and a half has been truly amazing.

Kim was loved by her big brother Scott and her sister Leslie I think I was the lucky one to have shared the same friends we worked together went on a few vacations we went canoeing and camping together and she stayed with Brooke  when Owen was born and one of two people ever to watch my kids I will miss you dearly

Kim was strong and brave and seemed to never give up or give in. I was in awe of her!! She will be missed!!!
