Larry was a Merit Officer with the Marion County Sheriff's Department for 14 years, to 1981. He returned as a civil deputy in 2001 and retired in 2008. Surviving are two daughters, Kami Shidler and Lora Fortenberry; his mother, Thelma Biggs; a sister, Linda Kirsch; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Brian Biggs; and the mother of his daughters, Sandra Jean (Talbot) Biggs. Visitation will be from 2 - 6 PM on Sunday, October 25th at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Service will be held Monday, October 26, at 11:00 am in the Mortuary,
