Larry "Bubba" Lee Hicks, III

Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Bubba was born August

26, 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Larry "Henry" Hicks, Jr. and Rachel McDanel

Johnson.

Larry is survived by his parents: Larry "Henry" Hicks, Jr.(Colleen Harte) and Rachel

Johnson(John), daughters: Hope Renae Lee Hicks, step-daughter: Alexis Reese, Shalonda Morris

(mother of Hope and Alexis), brother: Zachary (Synthia) Crouch, grandparents: Larry and Mary

Hicks, Sheryl Davis, Step-Grandmother: Tracie McDanel. Nephew: Zachary Crouch Jr., Aunts:

Gina Morris (David), Angie Collis (Bryan Schillings), Darcy Cranor (Mike), Uncles: Chad McDanel,

Nathaniel “Nate” McDanel (Diana), Jason Godwin, Cousins: Shannon Morris (Wayne McCarty),

Shawnna Morris (Joshua Mendenhall), Shelbie Morris, David Morris III, Vince Collis II, Austin

Collis, Breanna “Breezy” McDanel, Aaron Cranor, Christopher Cranor, Delaney Johnson, Caylend

McDanel, Mackenzie McDanel, Zander McDanel, Kelsey Godwin, Alexa Godwin, Maddy Godwin

Bub was so close with some of his cousins, they were more like sisters. Shannon, Shawnna and

Shelbie made beautiful memories with Bubba that will last a lifetime.

Too numerous to list, he also leaves behind several 2nd and 3rd cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles

that he was very close to as well.

Bubba was preceded in death by Cousins: Nicholas Alexander Cranor, Jason Dwayne Godwin II

and Josh Plummer, Aunt: April McDanel, Grandparents : Phil Davis and Rodney McDanel.

A visitation for Bubba will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at

Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by

a sharing of memories at 1:00 PM.
