Laura was a beautiful soul and a wonderful person.  I will always remember her for her love of family and friends.

I don’t even have words cause I can’t even explain how I feel . I can’t get it through my mind to even begin to accept the fact that you’re not here anymore . The pain I feel is unlike none before . All I wanted to do was respect your wishes and do what I know you wanted me to do . Everyone has there opinions on what they think they knew but I know what you asked of me . Saying I love you is an understatement. I have so many emotions anger , guilt , and much more . I can’t bring it to myself to say goodbye . I’m hurt I’m angry but you always said don’t question God . Keep your arms wrapped around the family mama cause this is a hard one …

I am truly going to miss my friend, I have known Laura over 50 years. She was a special kind of friend. Always there for you if you needed her no matter what, with a kind word or helping hand. She loved her family and did what ever she could to help support them (Quentin, Quentin Jr.) and others. We are both (PK’s) Preachers Kids, work many years for the USPS in management and supported each other in our various positions. You don’t find many people like her willing to go that extra mile. Always putting others first, when sometimes she needed help or a little support herself. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen the family. Honor her memory by living your best life that would make her proud. I often wonder why does God allow good people to die early. I find some peace in the scripture Isaiah 57:1-2. Rest well my friend. This photo was taken last October 2024. Prior to this day I hadn't seen Laura in a very long time, however, she made me and my daughter feel at home with her warm and kind heart. I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to see you one last time. I will never question Gods timing but he is always on time. May God continue to keep you next to him.

As I sit here and think of all of the lessons you taught me from a kid until now, losing the matriarch of the family since Big Mama passed, it’s really hard. I will make sure I finish school and make you  proud. I love you always, Auntie Laura.

I will never forget singing for you in the choir. You were always available for me and my family. My mother loved you dearly as well as I. I miss you dearly. Rest dearly in the arms of our Lord and Savior!!!

She was great, She was a amazing mother, Sister, Best friend, She was just one amazing person. I love how she was always there when you needed her, How she was always available to be by your side when you need her to be. I will always love you and I will always remember you and I will ALWAYS remember you as my mom and I just want to hear your voice one more time I can hear you in my head saying "You will be okay...it's my time and always remember to say...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" I love when you tell us to say that every day before school and I will every day, I promise!
