Layne Edward Law

Layne Edward Law, beloved husband, father and papaw, age 60, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Layne was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Noah and Kaye (McIntyre) Law. He was a member of Local 7-706 USW and worked at Ingredion (National Starch) in Indianapolis and just honored for his 15 years of service. Layne was a member of Charity Church where he loved and served faithfully. Layne served in the US Army. Layne was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Charlotte Kaye; his brother, Scott Law, and his brother-in-law Robby Robertson. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane (Dove) Law; daughter Brandee and her husband Nathan, and granddaughter, Rylee; his siblings, Alice Law, Mark Law (Lynn) Doug Law (Vicky) and Sally Robertson; his father and mother in law, Jerry and Daisy Dove; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Michelle Dove; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Lakeview Church 47 Beachway Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana 46224(Please Use Entrance #6) . Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Church. (Please Use Entrance #6) Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery.
