Leslie Rene Ogle

Leslie was born in Indianapolis on July 18, 1967 to Carol Ann Smith & raised by stepfather Johnnie K. Smith Sr. She went to school at Lawrence North High School. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University magna cum laude and worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. She was involved heavily in church, spending time with her children and grandchildren and worshiping the Lord.

Leslie is preceded in death by her Mother Carol Ann Smith, Stepfather Johnnie K Smith Sr., Grandfather Bennie Sayles, and Grandmother Mary Sayles.

Leslie is survived by her eldest Son, Desmond Clark, youngest Son Derrick Clark, Brother Johnnie Smith Jr., Granddaughter Brooklyn Clark, Grandson Desmond Clark Jr., Nephew Johnnie K Smith III, Niece Desiree’ Dene Thomas, as well as her beloved Aunts, Uncles, Sisters, Cousins and many good friends.

A visitation for Leslie will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.

A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Clarence C. Moore of New Era Church officiating.

Leslie will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery following the service.
