67, Avon, passed away January 22, 2015.
Linda was a graduate of Wiley High School, class of 1965. She served as Past President of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Linda also retired as an Executive Secretary of UA Local 440 of Indianapolis following 17 years. Prior to there, she worked for UA Local 157 for 21 years in Terre Haute. She is survived by her husband, Michael Carr; daughter, Amy Lynn Newsom; step-sons, Timothy D. Carr, Brent Schoffstall; step-siblings, Beverly Chafey, Kevin Burdette, Thad Burdette, Tracey Fuzesi; 9 granchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
