Linda Sue Roach

Linda Sue Hurst was born in Indianapolis to Orville Owen and Martha Jane Hurst on January 1, 1944. She graduated from Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida and married the love of her life, Charles S. Roach, on July 20, 1963 in Indianapolis. Their 61-year marriage was a fairy tale, full of love and joy. Their profound devotion to each other will forever be an example to their loving family.

Linda worked over 25 years in the dental field as an office manager and dental assistant for Dr. Thomas E. Quill Jr. Along with her career in the dental field she excelled in “family”, unequalled as a loving and devoted mother to her three children, Dawn Rutter (Robert), Debbie Spencer (Patrick) and Chuck Roach Jr. (Shandra); to her nine grandchildren, Allison Harris (Christopher), Ryan Rutter, Eric Rutter (Courtney), Tori Taylor (Dylan), Taylor Bell (Joe), Evan Rutter (Briana), Cassie Spencer, Savana Roach (Evan Christopher) and Paris Roach; and to her ten great-grandchildren: Kennedy and Ryder Harris, Carson and Liam Rutter, Duke, Aiden and Nash Taylor, Brady, Charlie and Rosie Bell.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Martha Hurst.

Visitation will be on Friday, 2/7/2025 from 4:30 - 8:00 at St. Jude Catholic Church (5353 McFarland Road, Indpls., IN 46227), and on Saturday, 2/8/2025 with visitation at 11:00 am, with Mass to follow at 12:00 noon. Presiding will be family friend Rev. Jim M. Lies, C.S.C. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
