Lois Anita Morris

Lois Anita Morris, age 91, of Flatwoods, Kentucky and formerly from Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Lois was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Johnson) Writt. She had been a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University and was an Administrative Specialist with Vasa Brougher for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Morris; her children, Stanley Barrow, Stephen Morris, Anita Odle and Debra Long; grandson, Kris and Tony Barrow; siblings, Judith Harbison, Michael, William and Kevin Writt.

Lois is survived by her sons, Anthony Morris and Michael Morris; grandchildren, Nikki Barrow, Josh Odle, Robbie and Jason Long, Stephanie Tartaglia, Michael, Stephen Sidney, Dakota, Benjamin and Andrew Morris and Alexis Hernandez; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet Galloway, James Writt, Marilyn Holmes, Kathy Writt, Patrick Writt and Suzanne Writt.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.
