Margaret Sue Barnes

Margie (as she was better known) was born on July 6th, 1950 to Everett and Dorothy Hostetter. She graduated high school from St. Agnes Academy. She married Brian Rennekamp on October 14th, 2001. It was love at first sight after meeting at an ice cream social in 1994. Margaret had a passion for animals, puzzles, writing, singing, Reese’s cups and her friends and family. She will be missed immensely.

Margaret is preceded in death by parents Everett and Dorothy Hostetter, sister Mary Carr, and brother William Hostetter.

Margaret is survived by Brian Rennekamp, Evelyn Corelli, Barbara (Stan) Clark, Dottie (John) Kraft, Jo (Bruce) Curtiss, Bruce Rennekamp, Brenda Rennekamp, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were lucky to be a part of Margie’s life.

Visitation will be from 10am-12pm on Monday, February 26th with funeral services to follow at 12pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.

Donations in honor of Margie can be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis. The family of Margaret wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Ascension St. Vincent’s and Traditions Health Hospice for their compassion and care.
