Grace “Marie” Freeman, 96, passed away on March 4, 2022. Marie was born in New Haven, WV on September 6, 1925. She moved to Indianapolis in 1971 from Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Freeman, parents John and Alesta Ferrell, daughter Sarah Freeman, son Ron Freeman, brother Jack Ferrell, and sisters Helen Kosher and Ruth Ferrell. She is survived by her children: Sandy (Joel) Marin, Donnie (Mary) Freeman, Jane (Butch Hartsock) Freeman, Jan (Henry) Bussey, and Nancy (Jim) Curry, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Per the family’s request, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
