Jane was a guiding light, and her example of generosity, care and love inspired us to develop these characteristics. She presented herself with poise and grace but her fun and spicy side would emerge at times, and you would share a good laugh with her. She was an excellent listener to her children and to her friends as well as strangers. She was often concerned about others in her community and would help them in various ways.
She was a very talented woman. Her homes were beautifully decorated and made you feel cozy and welcome. Every holiday event and party was artistically adorned and added joy to the festive event. Her art journals depict reflective themes that are artistic displays of skillfully arranged collage. She used this skill to craft beautiful handmade birthday cards for every resident at Westside Gardens.
She was an amazing seamstress wrestling yards of fabric with great skill. She attended a writer’s club for sixteen years creating very clever prose and poems. She was an excellent writer.
She faithfully volunteered on committees in the schools that her children attended. She tutored grade school children with the Oasis group.
We will miss you dearly. You were a guiding light to us, and your light will not fade in our memories.
