Martha Jean Dudley

86, of Beech Grove, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was born February 16, 1926 in Attica, IN to the late Frank and Lala Helmerick. Affectionately known as Grandma Dud, Martha was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a secretary for Purdue University and retired from Farm Bureau Insurance. Martha was an avid Colts football and Purdue University basketball fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Nolan Dudley; four sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Lois Fink (John), Kathy Mack (Robert), William Dudley, Jr. (Martha), Steven Dudley (Cheryl), James Dudley (Laura), and Ronald Dudley (Amy); brother, Cecil Helmerick; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237, where the funeral will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
