

Mary Burrows Eveleigh, 78, of Jacksonville, FL, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at the McGraw Community Hospice Center there. Born September 27, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William and Margaret Pound Burrows, she also lived in Jackson, WY.
Mary Eveleigh was a member of the Junior League of Jacksonville and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She married Carl F. Eveleigh, Jr., in Chicago on September 13, 1952. Mary Eveleigh received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago, where her father, William Burrows was a professor of microbiology, in 1953.
From Indianapolis, the Eveleighs moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1963 where they were members of the River Club and the Florida Yacht Club. Carl and Mary enjoyed several years of boating in Florida and the Bahamas on their yacht, Skipper's Gal. In Jackson Hole, they were members of Teton Pines Country Club.
Mary Eveleigh is preceded in death by her parents, and husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Freeland Eveleigh, Jr., who died on June 16, 2012.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons and four grandchildren. William Carl Eveleigh (Laura) and Elizabeth Anna Eveleigh and Jennifer Marie Eveleigh, and Robert Burrows Eveleigh (Dottie) and Margaret Eveleigh Davis (Ben) and Carl Burrows Eveleigh.
