Mary Christine McBride, age 69, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Mary was born December 16, 1952 in Farmington, Michigan to the late Donald Roy and Mary Louise (Russett) Hazzard. Mary graduated from Northwest High School in 1971. After high school, Mary married Jack McBride in July 1972.
Mary worked as an office manager for St. Vincent's for 27 years. Mary loved camping and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandson.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Jack McBride; children, Scott (Stacy) McBride and Brent (Akua) McBride; grandchildren, Erica (Levi) Okey, Zack Lane and Kortnee McBride; great grandson, Oliver Okey; and siblings, Dick Hazzard and Mike Hazzard.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Roy Hazzard and Mary Louise Hazzard; and brothers, Mark Hazzard and Don Hazzard.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM.
Mary will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.
