Mary Helen Rubeck

Mary Helen Rubeck, age 96, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2020. Mary was born October 22, 1923 to the late Helen (Beisel) Graves and Thurman Graves. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rubeck; daughter, Mary (Rubeck) Benson; sister, Virginia (Graves) Hunt; and brother, Thurman "Bud" Graves. Mary participated in the war effort as a factory worker supporting the military needs during WWII. She later would work at Eli Lilly and several department stores. Mary was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Mary is survived by her son, Bill Rubeck (Donna); brother, James Graves; grandchildren, Jonathon Benson (Miranda), Stephen Benson (Anne), Anna Rush (Ben), and Bryan Rubeck; and 5 great grandchildren. Private family services will be held at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and she will be laid to rest at Washington Park East.
